Happy New Year

This time a year ago we were sprucing up the space, setting the turntables and winding up for the passage of one year to the next. With all the hope, goodwill and optimism that this night brings. Eager to be in the clinking, chattering company of dear friends, colleagues and neighbours.

You don’t need me to say that business has been hard, that this years celebration will be muted and we’re all missing that fundamental feeling of community.

To everyone out there on their own tonight, we will see you again. To everyone out there who’s lost someone or something, we will be there for you. To everyone out there who can’t see an end, soon we’ll be pouring you your favourite something and looking back.

If you’re in need of something to entertain and play, we have a selection of mixtapes for you to pick through from the bar and before (when we were a club night/blog bit) over on our Jukebox

Local London friends (5 miles from E8) - we can now get Seltzers to you in under an hour (the Fo Swizzle is a godsend on a hangover FYI) either via Martini Genie or our neighbours at The Quarter Store.

To the rest, our STORE & next day service is running right through the bank holiday and beyond.

Happy new year to all - sending love & unity wherever you are ☺︎
