Re-Born on the 4th of July

July 4th - the pubs are open! A Nation Rejoices! Throw up the bunting! Re-coronate the queen!

Not quite.

The guidelines provided for re-opening are limiting. We have had the tape measures out, triple sanitised all hard surfaces, integrated new systems of operation for staff and customer safety; and yet there’s still a big question mark. The first is, as it always has been, for staff and customer safety.

We can host up to 24 guests as per the guidance. DJs are out, as is the elbow-to-elbow weekend bustle that the space thrives on both socially and economically. As much as we do want to see you all again, our old model simply does not work and we are yet to see if we can operate at even break-even in the ‘new normal’.

So, we have elected to play it safe. We will not be re-opening to set hours. We will open on July 4th to launch our new range of carefully developed HARD SELTZERS and to see some of you. To book a booth please get in touch, otherwise we will have a cart up on street level with some bottles to sling and for people to congregate at a safe distance.

Beyond the 4th, if you want to explore booking the space out for you and up to 24 of your mates, we will work with you on building a package that both entertains and keeps everything above board. Our little listening bar can be your cosy oasis to reconnect with loved ones in a safe & private space with great drinks, sound and company.

This is prone to amendments over the coming weeks and months. We are gutted its not business as normal, yet. But to operate with caution through this next phase only helps bring that day closer when we can all dance, drink and mix in close proximity again.
