The Tenth Configuration

First radio of 2026. First time recording at the bar. Broadcast Saturday 31st Jan. On RINSE FM.

—> Imagined scenario: comfortable home match, 3pm ko, look forward to match of the day.

—> VS reality: underestimated the opponent, too close to deadline, fax machine (sub: mic) didn’t work.

As the bar approaches it’s 10 year landmark, I wanted to play some records that have both shaped the space, and my own sense of self within it… And, to mark, in some infinitesimal way – a decade since the passing of David Bowie. This took a turn through folk jazz and psych(y)-soundtrack, to Japanese ambient, pitched-down Italo and 90s/00s hip-hop. Apologies for the malfunctioning mic.
