Mixtape Jukebox

To help you through homebound entertainment procedures, and to accompany our new bottled Mixed Drink range (plug* DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR *gulp), we’ve added a Mixtape Jukebox to our HIFI page. Bringing something of the BTW experience to you in lockdown and beyond.

For starters we’ve pulled three tapes from the archive. First up Terre Thaemlitz (aka. DJ Sprinkles) who submitted this entry for us back in 2013 prior to our session at Plastic People. Then we have two Tascam 4-track recording by residents past and present procured on the system in its infancy. We’ll be adding here as the situation evolves and we can maybe get some new sets recorded on the current set up.

All the mixes are recorded direct to tape without without computer intervention. We may make hard copies available off the masters down the line if we can dig ‘em outta the attic. But for now, please enjoy this evolving soundtrack to your new normal!
