The Rule of Six

Now following the Rule of Six.

You can now only book tables up to a maximum of 6 guests in accordance with the government guidelines. We’ve revamped our entire booking system to flex; if you had an outstanding booking on the old system, it will have migrated and you should have received a (re)confirmation email today.

We will also now be enforcing a more ardent track and trace policy; with QR codes available on entry and at each table to allow easy access for all of our guests.

We know this is all a bit 1984, but asides these two slight alterations we still believe that we can provide an oasis of calm and shelter away from all the chaos. In many ways, the rule of six is helpful to us; it keeps groups to manageable sizes and, frankly, if you’ve been here you’ll know we don’t actually have (m)any booths that can fit more people than that anyway.

With London Cocktail Week now announced to run throughout the whole of October there’s lots to look forwards to down here over the coming weeks. It’s not elbow to elbow anymore, there’s no late night DJ parties and we are working against the pitch of our entire business plan. But; it’s serene, the drinks are always on point (and now changing weekly), the sound-system is purring away in the background and there’s fresh cushions on the benches to fit the new vibe. We’re working on some new snacks too, but till then Yard Sale pizza still send out here to keep you in situ.

The virus is still at large and no-one wants another lockdown. If we work this well together, we can keep everyone safe and continue to operate (in a capacity).

We’d like to thank you all for your continued support and understanding through this challenging time - we hope our little listening bar can be your cosy oasis to continue to connect with loved ones in a safe & private space with great drinks, sound and company.

Book a table, cop a seltzer and enjoy.

xBTW
