For Good Friday and Easter Saturday we are gonna be lowering the decks from 9pm and running late with a pair of parties to shake into Spring in style!

All DJ donations on the door will be matched by the bar and donated to Save The Children via the Arsenal Vision Podcast

December’s schedule looks like this:

Tonight we’re celebrating 10 years of The Diggers - a collectors collective headed by the inimitable Mr. Chris Airplays. For our first ever event back in the heady summer of 2012, Chris starred on our open deck sound-system. Since then we’ve been intertwined as star-crossed nerds, confidants and collaborators with The Diggers contributing, consulting and mostly being solid mates to all of us at BTW over the years.

And so it goes.

A Sunday Party by friends Lorenzo Cibrario & Francesco Fusaro

A parade of odd soundtracks, jazzy moods, velvety sounds, calypso breakdowns, a zest of exotica and some seriously groovy disco beats.

This Sunday our crew will be driving the system themselves for the inaugural Be In My System event. The idea is to put together a mixtape using the hi-fi and odds bits found in the cupboard under the stairs without any of the recording being digitised or touching a DAW/computer.

Witching season is well and truly here. Tomorrow: Borne Fruits are in situ with their spooktacular Boogie Against Brexit which was, akin to Frankensteins’ monster, plastered together and given the kiss of life before Count McDoncula and the PLP decided they were up for a trip to the polls after all so the whole thing’s off (for now) & we can breathe & jus dress up & dance a bit…

In association with Impulse Records, we are delighted to be hosting one of several John Coltrane listening parties for the previously unreleased BLUE WORLD LP this Thursday, a few days after what would have been the great man's 93rd birthday.

Under the deluge of news you may have missed that this is National Negroni Week.

Count Camilo’s beefed up Americano concoction (add the gin) has become so popular we-in-hospitality now roll out the bunting each year to celebrate it’s subtle, bitter charms. Regular readers of this parish will know we’re no champions of Campari so, our twist has often involved looking back at original recipes to find producers currently doing it closest to the old formulas. But now, in this week of all weeks, comes the un-holy twist. Sub-off on the gin, enter genever.
